I am a licensed clinical psychologist. I have a private practice in West Los Angeles where I work with a variety of populations and issues. I enjoy working with adults navigating relationships, life transitions (or just the drudgery of adult life), couples, and the LGBTQIA+ community. However, the magic is in the connection, so unless a clinical issue is outside of my purview, my focus is on the fit.
I received my undergraduate degree from UCLA and my doctorate from The California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP). My dissertation was on comprehensive and individualized substance abuse treatment. I am licensed to practice in the state of California.
My clinical experiences and the populations I've worked with have been diverse--early intervention with autistic children, trauma-focused therapy with high-risk/homeless youth for Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), crisis intervention for the Psychiatric Mobile Response Team (PMRT) for the Department of Mental Health, individual/conjoint therapy in a community clinic, individual/group therapy with LGBTQIA+ youth, CBT/DBT therapy in an inpatient substance abuse rehabilitation facility, and working with chronically mentally ill adults as the resident psychologist for several board and care facilities in Los Angeles.
I am a KAP Provider
I offer a therapeutic modality called Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), the use of ketamine as a complement to psychotherapy. I deliver KAP in my practice in partnership with an organization called Journey Clinical, which has a specialized medical team that determines eligibility for KAP, prescribes the ketamine, and aids in monitoring outcomes.
If you would like to explore the possibility of working with me on KAP, please e-mail me at DrDubron@gmail.com to discuss eligibility and next steps.
